Thank you for visiting the website of Western Piedmont Volleyball Association of Volleyball Officials. Serving Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, McDowell, Mecklenburg, Rutherford, and Watauga counties of North Carolina.
Our goal is to protect the integrity of the game and provide fair and consistent volleyball officiating that is accurate to the current rules and regulations of NHSA and NCHSAA.
Mission Statement
Promote a high standard of excellence by developing quality High School Volleyball officials through education and evaluation. To encourage the development and positive sportsmanship of student athletes, coaches, community members and officials. To improve the overall quality and consistency of officiating throughout the WPVBOA.

New Rule Changes
Each year the NCHSAA conducts several mandatory state rules clinics across North Carolina. The purpose of these clinics is to cover any rule changes/points of emphasis for the upcoming volleyball season. Staying up-to-date keeps everyone current, for understanding and consistency.

Interested in officiating?
We have open spots in our association. Officials have a great responsibility to manage the game to ensure safe, equal, and fair play without interfering with play. Clinic Dates Posted
Clinic dates are now posted. There are multiple dates you can attend during the month of July and August to get all your state mandated hours in. Please make plans to attend these clinics today.
